About Us

Qatar Allergy and Immunology Society (QAIS) is a nonprofit professional society aiming for public awareness and physicians’ education. QAIS is a chapter of Qatar Medical Association (QMA) and follows the same roles and regulation established by QMA. QAIS was founded in 2018.

QAIS aims for advancing knowledge and practice in the fields of allergy and clinical immunology, promoting of research in allergy and clinical immunology, organizing scientific meetings related to allergy and clinical immunology, and improving the quality of life of people with allergies through public education and knowledge dissemination between physicians and patients through magazines, leaflets and other literary or scientific works in Qatar.

Any licensed physician in good standing whose major interest is allergy and immunology can apply for membership in the Society.

QAIS members include physicians, allied health professionals and scientists with special expertise in the management of allergic and immunologic diseases.
